These tarpaulins are beautifully made and with a bit of care you will be using them for many years. Unlike plastic tarpaulins, they don't sweat yet are still waterproof*.

*Waterproof meaning: Canvas is not like a solid plastic sheet. It is a very tight fabric weave that allows air to pass through. This stops them sweating on the underside. Tarpaulins are designed to have a slope so that water will run off them. They cannot be used to store water as it will slowly drip through the fabric. If you are covering something you need to keep dry, ensure that any rain can run off and not pool on the surface.
